Dragon's Dogma 2 Increase Health

Dragon's Dogma 2 Increase Health

In Dragon’s Dogma 2, you can make your character stronger by leveling up and using special items that boost health. Keep reading this Dragon’s Dogma 2 guide to find out how to increase your character’s health, ways to heal, and to understand more about the Health stat.

Managing Health In Dragon’s Dogma 2?

Health, also known as HP, shows how much damage the Arisen and Pawn can handle. It’s shown as a green bar on the character screen. If your Health is high, you can endure more damage before getting knocked out or dying for Pawns. In the last Dragon’s Dogma game, Health was split into White Health and Critical Health.

White Health is the health your character can regain by healing when they get hurt and their HP goes down.

Critical Health is when your character’s health drops below a specific percentage of their maximum health. When this occurs, their health bar turns red, and the screen’s edges start flashing red, showing that your character is in danger of dying.

How To Increase Max Health

Increase Character Level

In the last Dragon’s Dogma game, when your character levels up, their health, also known as HP, goes up too. Every vocation in the game has its own way of increasing HP. The Warrior job had the biggest boost to HP compared to all the other jobs.

Health Boosting Augments

You can make your character healthier by learning and using special Augments. These become available as you level up in certain jobs. Once unlocked, you can use them with any job. For example, in the last game, the Vigilance augment boosted your character’s health by 100 when you leveled up as a Fighter.

How To Restore Health

There are different ways to restore your health in the game such as:

Magick Spells

The vocation of Mage spotlight says that magic spells can now heal you again. Only the Mage has confirmed healing magic right now, but it’s possible that other advanced or mixed jobs might also get special healing spells.

Sleep At An Inn Or Rest Camp

Sleeping in an Inn or at the Rest Camp will fully heal your character’s health. The Rest Camp is especially useful early in the game when you don’t have many healing items yet.

Eat Food And Drink Potions

In the last Dragon’s Dogma game, you could heal by eating food or using healing potions.

Level Up

When your character levels up, their Health gets fully restored. If you’re almost about to level up, it’s better to wait before healing your health with rest or items. Instead, level up to get your health back completely.
