INDIE Live Expo, Japan’s premier online digital showcase series connecting indie game fans worldwide, has unveiled the date for its first event of 2024. Scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 25th, 2024, this milestone showcase promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for indie gaming enthusiasts everywhere.
Following the resounding success of INDIE Live Expo Winter 2023, which garnered over 10 million views, and with a cumulative total of 98.7 million views since its inception in 2020, anticipation is high for the upcoming showcase. As the 10th INDIE Live event, this occasion will be commemorated by the unveiling of an all-new logo, symbolizing a decade of dedication to celebrating indie gaming excellence.
Dedicated to bridging indie scenes from around the globe, INDIE Live Expo offers multi-language broadcasts in English, Japanese, and Chinese, ensuring accessibility for a diverse audience. Viewers can expect the return of fan-favorite segments such as the rapid-fire “INDIE Waves,” featuring updates on numerous titles in short-form content, as well as “Indie Studios Around the World,” offering an in-depth exploration of a new local indie scene.
Indie developers and publishers are invited to submit their games for consideration until Monday, March 11th, 7:00 PM PDT / 10:00 PM EST. Registration is free for up to one title per organization, whether it’s a reveal of a brand new project, news for an upcoming game, major updates for previously released works, or a special sale. Additionally, sponsorship opportunities are available for interested parties looking to support the indie gaming community.
