INDIE Live Expo has released details for its first iteration of Summer Spotlight which concluded and featured an amazing 50+ titles during the event. INDIE Live Expo is an online digital showcase series that connects indie game fans from all over the world and has managed to accumulate over 84 million total views since its first show back in 2023. Now with its Summer Spotlight concluded, INDIE Live Expo is now gearing up for its Winter 2023 showcase. The Winter Showcase will take place alongside the INDIE Live Expo Awards Show later this year.
During the INDIE Live Expo Summer Spotlight, developers and publishers from around the globe were present and enjoyed an extended time in the spotlight thanks to INDIE Live Expo’s latest show format with long-form deep dives into the details of various titles including the world premiere of The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily, the crowd-controlling liberation strategy game co-produced by One or Eight, WSS Playground and Alliance Arts which is scheduled for release in 2024.
Another important title showcased during the event includes Boyhood’s End, the story-rich puzzle game developed by WSS Playground which is launching on PC via Steam in 2023. Some of the other major titles include Chicken Police: Into the Hive!, a point-and-click detective adventure developed by The Wild Gentlemen and published by Joystick Ventures, and Asym Altered Axis, the cross-genre 1v5 action-meets-RTS game developed by MIXI.
If you are planning to add some games to your collection, the INDIE Live Expo Steam Event is currently live and you can grab discounts on different games like Rogue Legacy 2, and Gas Station Simulator. As of now, over 400 titles are on sale at great prices and nearly all of the titles are previous showcase alumni. With its Summer Spotlight now over, INDIE Live Expo is now gearing up for the upcoming Winter 2023 showcase along with the annual INDIE Live Expo Awards Show. Winter submissions will open soon, and indie developers are encouraged to submit for both show inclusion and awards voted on by esteemed members of the gaming media along with designations nominated and granted by popular vote.
