Rockstar Games has announced details on the upcoming December Update for GTA Online and apart from Los Santos getting a holiday makeover, you can expect some familiar faces to return in the game as well. A brand-new illicit Salvage Yard business with new Vehicle Robberies and new Drift Races are also coming to GTA Online. New limited-time Rockstar Games 25th Anniversary in-game apparel, animals, and a lot more highlights the upcoming December update for GTA Online.
If you have played GTA IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony, you will remember the face of Yusuf Amir, the biggest real estate developer of Liberty City. He is now coming to Los Santos with a new business plan and this time around, you will steal, strip, and sell the most in-demand vehicles as part of Yusuf’s latest venture. Working alongside his cousin Jamal, you will plan and execute intricate, high-stakes robberies under the cover of a new shop called Red’s Auto Parts. It is a new purchasable salvage yard where you will manage everything and sell the best vehicles to Yusuf or salvage the boosted vehicles for parts.
If you love drifting then you are in luck because the new Drift Races are all about drifting and racing at the same time. In these races, you will drive specially tuned vehicles that are modified with drifting in mind. You can unlock these special drifting modifications by taking part in these races. The Drift modifications are only available to select vehicles at the LS Car Meet and if you can get these modifications, you can drive your Drift machines in freeroam as well.
Xbox Series X|S and PS5 players will be happy to know that their platforms are also getting new exclusive features including:
Wildlife comes to Freemode: animals now rove the Southern San Andreas landscape across GTA Online on PS5 and Xbox Series consoles GTA+ Members will get access to The Vinewood Club Garage, a new vehicle storage facility with the capacity to hold 100 vehicles PS5 and Xbox Series players will be able to organize and manage vehicle collections more conveniently via the Interaction Menu, moving them between garages with ease
Plus, players across all platforms will receive a host of new experience improvements, including:
A newly streamlined Interaction menu for easier navigation Increased LS Car Meet Reputation points for competing in Pursuit and Street Races New Specification Service at the LS Car Meet, allowing drivers to now purchase copies of another player’s Personal Vehicle on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC Custom description tags for each floor of the Eclipse Blvd. Garage Console voice chat now defaults to “Off” A small birthday gift for all players on their character’s birthday
Earlier this year, Rockstar Games added a massive 50-car garage for players who love to show off their car collections while the Mercenaries Update was released back in June which is one the most explosive update to arrive in GTA Online.
