How to Bet Week 17 NFL Player Props

Creating a Bovada account is easy and only takes a few minutes. Once your account is created, and you deposit funds, then you can wager on these exciting prop wagers. Here are the best NFL player props for Week 17 in the NFL.

Philadelphia Eagles: A.J. Brown Anytime TD Scorer (+105)

The Eagles (11-4) ended their three-game losing streak last week with a win over the New York Giants. Philadelphia has another winnable game this week against the Cardinals (3-12). Despite their record, Arizona has been a tough out this season, especially since QB Kyler Murray made his return midseason.

Jalen Hurts asked if he knows why AJ Brown was upset after the win: “I don’t know. I don’t wanna speak for him. I know he’s a competitor, he demands a lot out of himself. And that goes for everyone else in the locker room. He has a standard for himself, and he wants that from… pic.twitter.com/R8bW0PsRkF

Philly needs to win this game to keep control of the NFC East. The Eagles are the better team, but they still have plenty of issues to work out on both sides of the ball. I think this game could be the perfect opportunity for the Eagles to work on some of their issues.

For instance, WR A.J. Brown has gone four straight games without a TD. I think that streak will come to an end this weekend against Arizona. Bovada has Brown listed at +105 to end his scoring drought this weekend.

The Cardinals have allowed 27 passing TDs so far this season, which is tied for the fourth-most in the NFL. I think Brown will find the endzone this weekend and would bet on him in this Week 17 NFL player props wager.

Prediction:

A.J. Brown anytime TD scorer (+105)

Chicago Bears: Justin Fields Over 57.5 Rushing Yards (-125)

The Bears are technically still alive in the NFC playoff race despite their 6-9 record. If Chicago wins out and gets a lot of help, then they could make their first playoff appearance in the Justin Fields Era. Fields could also be auditioning for his next team as the Bears take on the Falcons this weekend.

Atlanta is one of a handful of teams considered a landing spot for Fields if he leaves Chicago after this season. The Bears will likely have the number one pick against his eyewear, courtesy of the Panthers. With the QB talent in the upcoming draft, no one could blame Chicago for wanting to pull the plug and start over.

Fields has been playing better as of late, but he still has a long way to go to be a good starting QB in the NFL. One area where he has consistently excelled is his rushing. He has 585 rushing yards this season and is averaging 5.6 yards per rush attempt.

Sports betting sites have Fields listed at over/under yards for this weekend’s game against the Falcons. Fields has covered that total in four of his last five starts. I think he can do it again, and I recommend taking the over in this total rushing yards props wager.

Prediction:

Justin Fields over 57.5 rushing yards (-125)

Buffalo Bills: Josh Allen Over 0.5 Interceptions (+110)

The Bills are another team fighting for a playoff spot. Buffalo is currently 9-6 and needs to win out to secure a spot in the postseason. With a little luck, they could even win the AFC East since they are just 1,5 games behind Miami.

Josh Allen is being talked about as a top candidate for MVP, but his turnovers are hard to ignore and may be too much to overcome, @MattVerderame writes https://t.co/QD1mapIQGD

Buffalo takes on New England this weekend at home. Josh Allen and Co. are 13-point favorites, but the Patriots did beat the Bills earlier this season. Allen’s turnover issues have also cost the Bills in key moments this season.

I do think that the Bills can avenge their loss and even the season series with the Pats. However, I also think that Allen will have at least one turnover this weekend. Bovada has Allen listed at +110 to throw an interception this week.

Allen has 15 interceptions this season and has only played three games where he did not throw a pick. New England picked him off once in their first matchup this season. I think the Pats will intercept Allen again this weekend.

Prediction:

Josh Allen has over 0.5 interceptions (+110)

Baltimore Ravens: Lamar Jackson Over 1.5 Passing TDs (+124)

The Ravens (12-3) are coming off a dominant road victory over the 49ers (11-4). Baltimore has another marquee matchup this weekend at home against the AFC East-leading Dolphins (11-4). The Ravens and Dolphins are the only teams so far to have clinched playoff spots in the AFC.

Baltimore can lock up the number one seed in the AFC with a win this weekend. Miami has consistently underperformed this season when they have had to face tough opponents on the road. The Ravens certainly fit that bill.

QB Lamar Jackson has all but locked up the MVP award for this season, too. He could solidify his case for the award with another dominant win this weekend. Bovada has Jackson listed at over/under 1.5 passing TDs for this game.

Jackson has had at least two passing TDs in three of his last five games. However, he has not had a multi-TD game two weeks in a row this season. I believe that will change this weekend and suggest taking the over on this total passing TDs prop.

Prediction:

Lamar Jackson has over 1.5 passing TDs (+124)

Kansas City Chiefs: Patrick Mahomes Under 1.5 Passing TDs (+155)

Another division leader in the AFC that is competing this Sunday is the Chiefs (9-6). Kansas City has lost five of its last eight games and is in jeopardy of losing control of the AFC West. They take on the Bengals this weekend, who are led by backup QB Jake Browning.

If the Chiefs want to have a realistic shot at repeating as Super Bowl champions this season, they need their offense to play better. The frustrations on offense have been clear the last few weeks, and QB Patrick Mahomes has had several outbursts on the sidelines. Mahomes has just 26 passing TDs to 14 INTs this season.

#Broncos Russell Wilson got benched for "poor play." Check out how he compares to #Chiefs Patrick Mahomes this season.

Pretty wild to see. 🤔

Football betting sites have Mahomes listed at over/under 1.5 passing TDs for Sunday’s game against the Bengals. Mahomes has just one multi-passing TD performance in the last four games.

I believe that the Chiefs’ offensive struggles will continue against the Bengals. Cincinnati has allowed just 20 passing TDs this season, and they have 15 interceptions.

Also, I think the Chiefs will try to run the ball more. Cincy gives up 4.7 yards per carry, which is tied for the second-most in the league. With all of that in mind, I would take the under on this wager.

Prediction:

Patrick Mahomes under 1.5 passing TDs (+155)

LA Chargers: Austin Ekeler Anytime TD Scorer (+160)

Week 17 ends with an AFC West showdown between the Chargers and the Broncos on Sunday Night Football. LA has already fired its head coach and is relying on backup QB Easton Stick for the rest of the season. Denver announced earlier this week that it is benching Russell Wilson and will start Jarrett Stidham in this game.

The Broncos are still alive in the playoff race, but at 7-8, they will need a lot of help to make the postseason. Denver’s run defense has also been one of the worst in the league this year. That could mean that Chargers’ RB Austin Ekeler could be in line for a big game this weekend.

Ekeler has just six total TDs so far this season, He has also only scored once in his last six games. Denver’s defense has allowed a league-high 5.1 yards per carry and 41 total TDs this season to opposing offenses.

At his peak, Ekeler was a weapon in both the rushing and passing games. I think he can have an above-average game this weekend against the Broncos. I would bet on him to be an anytime TD scorer at +160 odds.
