In Destiny 2 Season of the Witch, players can earn a new ritual armor set for each class. These new armor pieces drop from Vanguard strikes, Crucible, and Gambit playlist activities.
In the TWID, Bungie shared an image showing off the leathery, futuristic paleontologist-theme ritual armor set decorated with jagged bones. While each class has the same armor style, the individual sets have different names: Hunters get the Hinterland, Warlocks get the Ossuary, and the Titans have the Biosphere Explorer.
Not long ago, the Destiny 2 game director Joe Blackburn shared a video on Twitter clarifying information in the State of the Game post this summer. In the video, Blackburn also said that this set was originally meant for the Eververse store, but instead, the new ritual armor set pieces are rewards that players can earn.
This season also introduced a new and reprised set of ritual weapons players can obtain by completing playlist activities. These weapons are: Unending Tempest, Luna Regolith III, Qua Xaphan V, Pre Astyanax IV, The Guiding Sight, and GL3. Also, reaching Reputation Rank 16 with Zavala, Lord Shaxx, or Drifter at the Tower will give players the Malediction Masterworked Legendary hand cannon.
